This project included the construction of a top of the line NCAA-dimensioned artificial turf practice field and 6,000 SF band building, including restrooms, instrument storage, work space, and a covered pavilion. The project is located at Pony Field on the UF Main Campus, on the corner of Mowry Road and Gale Lemerand Drive. The project also encompassed site improvements such as utility connections, field lighting, parking lot modifications, ADA access, stormwater retention facilities, and landscaping. eda served as the prime consultant and project manager for this project- performed contract administration, coordinated/managed the consultant team, attended project meetings and university committees, engaged stakeholders, and prepared/submitted regulatory permit submittals. Surveying tasks in support of project design and construction included a topographic survey, underground utility locations, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
