Over the last several decades, eda has provided civil engineering, surveying, and permitting services to the North Florida Regional Medical Center campus for dozens of different projects. Most recently:
• A $90 million expansion to the South Patient Tower involving the addition of 78 private patient rooms across three floors, and construction of a new 850-spot parking garage to serve the facility.

Engineering
- Developed full construction plans for engineering site design, including detailed utility plan and paving, grading, and drainage plan.
- Received approval from the St. Johns River Water Management District for major modifications to the existing Environmental Resource Permit for the site, including preparation of stormwater calculations demonstrating compliance with the master drainage system
- Designed and permitted utility improvements with GRU, including electric, water, and sewer services
- Prepared application materials, managed the site plan permitting process, and secured major development plan approval from the City of Gainesville's Development Review Board
Surveying
- Provided detailed topographic survey including underground utility locations
- Provided a specific purpose survey to locate structural columns of existing building
