eda consultants inc. is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for its office in Gainesville, FL.

 

We are looking for a positive and friendly team-player with outstanding organizational skills to join our

office team. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Maintain schedules including deliverables of projects.

·         Prepare forms and application documents for project submittals and re-submittals.

·         Coordination with clients regarding application/permit forms, fees and affidavits.

·         Coordination with subconsultants and associated companies regarding project submittals.

·         Responsible for engineering project submittals and project tracking.

·         Assist engineering personnel with general administrative tasks.

·         Communicate with state and local municipalities as required to determine the status of permits.

·         Schedule and coordinate meetings with appropriate governing agencies.

·         Assist project managers in obtaining consultant proposals and tracking deliverables for

engineering design projects.

·         Prepare and administer permit application packages throughout the entitlements process for

engineering design projects.

·         Assist with project document management, bidding and construction administration task organization.

 

Qualifications

·         Preferred Associates or Bachelors Degree in a Related Field

·         PC proficiency including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications and web applications for project management and permitting.

·         Possess the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels in the

organization and with outside clients and agencies.

·         Highly self-organized with the ability to create/present/maintain organizational structures.

·         Knowledge of the principles and practices of code research and project management.

eda consultants inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this position, you will play a crucial role by coordinating the proposal process, creating compelling marketing collateral, and maintaining our digital presence. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid-career professional to grow within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Coordination: Assist in the end-to-end production of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), including gathering and drafting content, layout design, and proofreading.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit project descriptions, employee resumes, firm profiles, boilerplate text, and various submittals.
  • Digital Media Management: Maintain the company website and execute content schedules for social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Marketing Asset Management: Maintain and organize the marketing digital asset library (project photos, logos, templates). Develop and maintain a set of brand standards.
  • Event & Interview Support: Help prepare presentation materials for client/project interviews and assist with regional industry events or conferences.

Qualifications

       ·  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within the AEC, construction, or professional services industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite, and WordPress/Elementor.
  • Core Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, excellent time management, ability to work independently, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.

eda consultants, inc. is in search of a full-time Survey CADD Technician to support the preparation of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivision plats, as-built surveys, and legal description sketches. The role also includes processing survey data, maintaining project files, and assisting with field work as needed to support project schedules.

Applicants should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, experience in land surveying, and the ability to read and interpret surveys and field data. Preferred candidates will also have experience with Leica total stations and GPS equipment, LiDAR data processing, and familiarity with North Central Florida tree identification.

eda consultants inc. is seeking a Professional Surveyor & Mapper. The person in this role will be responsible for survey projects from beginning to end and expected to positively contribute to the survey department’s and eda’s quality standards, project budgets and project timelines.

The ideal candidate would have experience and excel at the preparation of surveying proposals & developing scopes, the successful production of survey products, the supervision of CAD Techs and Field Personnel, performing CAD duties, performing field duties, quality control, and client communication. You would be expected to be successful on many different projects while providing multiple survey products, such as Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivision Plats, As-Built Surveys, and Construction Staking. FDOT experience is a plus. Managing a project and the people associated with it requires stellar problem-solving, judgement, organization, and interpersonal skills. This individual will be responsible, motivated, a team player, and detail-oriented.

eda consultants, inc. is looking to hire an experienced and motivated individual as party chief. The person in this position will supervise a field crew in the use of total stations while performing construction staking, boundary and topographic surveys.
The individual must be experienced in keeping accurate and legible field notes; have the ability to interpret plans, maps, land descriptions and other related survey documents; and be able to perform calculations in the field. The ability to use AutoCAD to perform calculations and/or as-built drawings is a plus.
Individual must have at least 3 years of experience as a party chief, an excellent driving record and a valid Florida driver’s license.

This position requires the applicant to have the ability to read and understand construction drawings, the ability to perform calculations for construction stakeout, perform boundary, topographic and tree surveys, accomplished at taking field notes, and is responsible for the survey vehicle and the day to day care of survey equipment.

The person in this role will help lead civil engineering projects from beginning to end while supporting eda’s quality standards,
project budgets, and timelines. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8a.m.–5 p.m.

 

Key Responsibilities
·    Lead the design and preparation of civil engineering plans for land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, roadway, and utility systems.
·    Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses for stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics, and erosion and sediment control.
·    Prepare construction documents, design reports, and permitting packages for submission to local and state agencies.
·    Coordinate with project managers, clients, regulatory agencies, surveyors, planners, environmental consultants, and other project team members.
·    Review plans, reports, and technical documents for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable Florida regulations, municipal codes, and industry standards.
·    Manage multiple projects simultaneously while tracking budgets, schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
·    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD designers.

Qualifications

eda is hiring experienced AutoCAD/Civil 3D Designers for our Gainesville, Florida office. Our production team at our growing civil engineering practice needs enthusiastic drafters willing to jump in and contribute. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, able to work with minimal direction on multiple projects at once, and considers themselves a CAD expert.
Candidates should be experienced in the design of stormwater systems, roadways, parking lots, utility infrastructure, and subdivisions. They should know how to perform civil 3D modeling of tin surfaces and pipe networks, and be familiar with relevant industry standards, methods, and practices. Experience in the civil engineering field is preferred, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is required. Prospective candidates will complete a short exercise to demonstrate their level of software ability.
eda consultants, inc. is in search of a full-time Project Designer for its office in Gainesville, FL. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and either an EI certificate or PE certificate.
This position deals with site planning, stormwater analysis and design and use of AutoCAD. Applicant should be detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities will include preparing designs and reports, and project analysis. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
