the brief
eda provided professional surveying and engineering services for the City of Gainesville’s NE 31st Avenue Multiuse Trail project, delivering a new safe, accessible corridor for both transportation and recreation in northeast Gainesville. The multiuse trail is being constructed along the north side of NE 31st Avenue, connecting NE 15th Street to NE Waldo Road (SR 24) and improving pedestrian and bicycle connectivity between Unity Park and the Flatwoods Conservation Area.
Designed to support a wide range of users—including walkers, cyclists, runners, and families—the trail includes ADA-compliant features and safety enhancements at crossings and driveway locations.
