We prioritize adherence to specified timelines and costs, often providing “Not to Exceed” estimates to keep projects within budget. Project Review Services
We frequently act in the role of a reviewing agency, performing regular, on-demand site plan and subdivision plat reviews on behalf of governmental entities. We have performed these reviews for clients such as Alachua County, the City of Alachua, City of Newberry, City of Hawthorne, and City of Waldo. For some communities, we estimate performing this service 10-12 times per year for the last 10 years
Planning & Zoning Support
We provide on-call professional consulting services, including assisting staff and the public with inquiries related to zoning regulations, land use, and property issues. We interpret zoning codes, prepare staff reports, attend necessary public hearings and meetings manage planning applications (rezoning, special exceptions, variances), and assist with Comprehensive Plan updates and Land Development Code amendments.
Civil Engineering Design
Our civil design services for government projects include site design, project management, and facility engineering. This includes planning and design for utility infrastructure (including pipeline design, pump stations, water distribution systems, wastewater facilities, and lift stations), roadway improvements, and stormwater management systems. We can obtain all necessary agency approvals on your behalf.
Surveying & Mapping
We perform the full range of required surveying services on an as-needed basis, including boundary and topographic surveys, utility location, construction layout & staking, roadway maintenance maps and specific purpose surveys. We also provide Right-of-Way and Real Estate Support Services, including preparing legal sketches and descriptions for easements and right-of-way acquisitions. As an extension of your staff, we are on-call to mobilize quickly in an emergency- assessing and managing complex underground utility situations using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).
Construction Administration (CA) & Bidding Support
Our licensed civil engineers provide dedicated CA services throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to design intent and permit requirements, manage change orders, and provide site visits/inspections. We can provide comprehensive bidding support- we draft front end documents, such as technical specifications and contract documents, according to your standards.
