the brief
eda served as the prime consultant and project manager for this $2.3 million top of the line NCAA-dimensioned artificial turf practice field and 6,000 SF band building, including restrooms, instrument storage, work space, and a covered pavilion. The project is located at Pony Field on the UF Main Campus, on the corner of Mowry Road and Gale Lemerand Drive. The project also encompassed site improvements such as utility connections, field lighting, parking lot modifications, ADA access, stormwater retention facilities, and landscaping. Our engineers were able to successfully work around some unique site civil considerations including complex underground utility design, drainage concerns, and onsite wetlands.
