eda provided the full scope of work necessary to prepare a Development Plan application for this hotel redevelopment project located in Gainesville, Florida. The services included were the preparation of the required Development Plan application with related Civil Engineering drawings, coordination with associated project consultants and representation at all required meetings. The Development Plan was prepared to show compliance with all technical design requirements, as outlined in the City of Gainesville Land Development Code. eda‘s engineers and project designers also provided the client permitting services to include a Utility Construction permit from Gainesville Regional Utilities, a permit from St. John’s River Water Management District for the stormwater management facilities, and a Development Plan Construction Permit from the City of Gainesville.
Surveying services provided by eda‘s surveyors included the preparation of a boundary and topographic survey showing contours, tree locations, aboveground improvements, and sanitary and storm sewer inverts. Traceable underground utility locations found with Ground Penetrating Radar technology were also shown on the survey.
