eda provided civil engineering and land surveying services in the construction of what was formerly Drummond Community Bank and then Seacoast Bank. The three-story office building comprises 11,500 square feet, and is located adjacent to Fairfield Inn & Suites on SW 37th Boulevard, just off Archer Road. This site for this building was an undeveloped tract of land that had unique water and elevation challenges. The open site was carefully developed to preserve the adjacent wetlands and address the eight-foot elevation change. This elevation difference required the construction of a large retaining wall around two-thirds of the property. In addition to the new retaining wall, an expansive parking lot with a drive-thru area, and utility improvements, edaalso designed and permitted modifications to SW 37th Boulevard to improve access to the site with a new turn lane.
