eda has provided review services for development plan and plat submittals, ROW maintenance mapping for city roadway segments, and boundary, topographic, and utility location for specific projects, some of which are featured below:

  • US 441 Water Line Extension & Roadway Improvements
    Completed: 2023 (projected)
    eda provided professional surveying and engineering services to the City of Alachua for a proposed water main line extension and roadway improvements through Phoenix Park, from San Felasco Tech City to the US Hwy 441 right-of-way line. eda provided topographic survey with detailed underground utility location information for the area of proposed improvements.
  • US 441 Sanitary Sewer Extension
    Completed: 2019
    eda‘s surveyors provided Topographic survey including underground utilities and trees to be used as the basis for the design of an extension of the main sanitary sewer and water lines along NW US Hwy 441/ML King Hwy from lift station 19 west to Phoenix Park (approximately 1,831 linear feet).
  • NW 150th Ave & Main St Intersection Redesign
    Completed: 2016
    eda provided the City of Alachua with civil engineering and land surveying services for grading and drainage improvements at the intersection of NW Main Street and NW 150th Ave. Prepared a topographic survey showing spot elevations, location of fixed above ground improvements, ROW lines, utility locations, and sanitary & storm sewer inverts to aid design of grading and drainage improvements, including the addition of curb and gutter, addition of sidewalks, and sanitary manhole relocations.
  • NW 154th Avenue Improvements
    Completed: 2016
    eda provided the City of Alachua with civil engineering and land surveying services for the reconstruction of a portion of NW 154th Avenue, (approximately 1,100 linear feet) between US Highway 441 and NW 140th Street. The topographic survey included the entire right-of-way of NW 154th Avenue and its intersection with US 441.
